Why Carbon Management?

What is Carbon Management?
Carbon management is the collective term for a suite of approaches to reducing emissions and atmospheric carbon. The landscape of carbon management can include novel carbon capture and storage technologies, nature-based solutions, stakeholder education, and more. Together, these approaches form a critical toolkit for tackling climate change and reducing emissions.

Carbon Management and Climate Change
Climate change is the most urgent challenge facing humanity today, and the science is clear that we must use every tool at our disposal to avoid the worst of its impacts. Carbon management plays an essential role in mitigating climate change, complementing energy efficiency, renewable power, electrification, adaptation and resilience, and other approaches.
